This depends on the injury and type of treatment you require. For physiotherapy, an initial assessment can be up to 60 minutes. Subsequent visits will be approximately 30-40 minutes. For registered massage therapy, an initial visit will be 40 minutes and subsequent visits can be booked for 30 minutes, 40 minutes or 60 minutes.
If you qualify for BCHealthcare (MSP) Premium Assistance, the provincial government does provide partial funding for physiotherapy and massage therapy . If you are unsure wheather you qualify for MSP Premium Assistance, our staff can assist you or visit HealthcareBC.
Plans vary so you need to check with your employer or insurer to determine coverage. Most extended health care plans do provide physiotherapy and massage therapy coverage. We will issue a receipt for each vist and you will need to submit your receipts to your insurer for reimbursement.
Please contact us immediately if you are unable to attend your appointment. You can leave a message on the answering machine outside of clinic hours. We ask for at least 24 hours notice if possible.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Debit/Interac and cash. A receipt will always be issued so that you may send it to your private/extended health plan for reimbursement if applicable.
